Chief Marketing and Communications Officer | Moneta Group | July 2022 - March 2025

Moneta Group is one of the US’s largest Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs), managing over $40Bn in assets for over 6,000 individuals, families and institutions. As a member of the executive team, I led all marketing and communications activities.

  • Led new Moneta brand messaging as well as creation and messaging development workshops across the company’s 26 business units

  • Revamped website

  • Implemented marketing automation

  • Implemented content marketing strategy based around verticals with buyer personae

Chief Marketing Officer and Partner, Director of Marketing | Brightworth | December 2016 - May 2022

Brightworth (now Corient Private Wealth) is a fee-only wealth management firm located in Atlanta, Georgia, providing investment and wealth counsel to high net worth individuals, families and institutions. I was both a partner and the leader of all marketing and communications for the company.

  • Built company’s first marketing department

  • Led development of buyer personas and vertical markets

  • Rebranded website and collateral

  • Introduced social media, blogging, and podcasting

  • Introduced targeted online media buys

  • Introduced first marketing automation system

  • Introduced and managed all-company offsite annual meetings

  • Introduced client advisory council and NPS methodology

  • Joined company with head count of 37 and appx. $1.5Bn in assets under management. As of May 2022, company had reached 90 head count, over $5Bn under management, and had been purchased by multinational CI Financial.

VP Corporate Marketing, VP Marketing Communications, Graphic Artist | Craneware | August 2010 - November 2016

Craneware is the leader in automated value cycle solutions that improve financial performance for healthcare organizations. As VP Marketing Communications and later VP Corporate Marketing, I managed the company's branding, advertising, PR, events and meetings, website, social media, executive communications, investor communications and employee communications.

  • Led rebranding and was contributor to revised strategy of company, including messaging, logo, trademarks, and all supporting materials

  • Led development of a new SEO- and mobile-optimized corporate site

  • Introduced use of video in marketing and internal communications

  • Introduced a marketing automation and lead scoring system

  • Grew Movement to Prevent Revenue Leakage membership program from 2 members to 400+

  • Launched first company blog and first company Twitter accounts

  • During tenure as VP, share price increased from £4.13 (April 30, 2010) to £10.80 (Dec. 2, 2016) and company head count from 129 to approx. 245

Creative Director | Hood Marketing Solutions | October 2006 - September 2009

Hood Marketing Solutions was a small full-service agency with primarily healthcare, life science and IT accounts. As the lead creative, I was responsible for developing concepts for ad campaigns, identities, user interfaces and visual branding projects and seeing them through to completion.

  • Led diversification of Hood Marketing into strengthening website UI/UX design offerings

  • Developed international advertising creative for healthcare multinational Elekta

  • Supported company president Lynn Hood in pitching and cultivating new accounts
